Manager - Technical
Responsible for tenant management, conducting feasibility studies for shop layouts, monitoring and reviewing fitting‑out works, and coordinating with tenants on major modification and improvement works related to building services systems and builder’s works.
Responsibilities

Oversee feasibility studies, fitting‑out works, and modification projects for large‑scale commercial properties.

Coordinate with stakeholders and tenants on engineering issues and related works.

Develop technical specifications for tendering, and handle contract administration, including monitoring and supervising site works.

Conduct feasibility studies for tenant proposals.

Vet tenant fit‑out submissions to ensure compliance with commercial requirements and quality standards, and coordinate with tenants, leasing, and design teams to facilitate technically and commercially sound fit‑out works.

Provide technical support to other departments on building services and builder’s works, including tenant fit‑out, reinstatement, minor alterations, and modification works.

Plan, organize, direct, and control multi‑disciplinary technical activities in a safe, reliable, cost‑effective, and quality‑driven manner for the management and operation of large‑scale commercial properties.

Develop and formulate technical strategies and procedures to enhance management efficiency and effectiveness.

Liaise with external consultants, government authorities, public utilities, and tenants on technical and statutory matters.

Ensure all technical setups and performance fully comply with current local legislation.

Prepare and manage the budget associated with the technical team.

Manage and coordinate with the Management Office on technical issues.

Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements

Degree holder in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Building Studies, Building Surveying, Engineering, or other construction‑related disciplines

MHKIE (Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical), MHKIS, MRICS, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in maintenance and/or as a client’s representative, preferably in commercial properties, with at least 4 years at supervisory level.

Strong sense of responsibility.

Self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.

Proficient in computer skills.

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
