Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Liaise/Coordinate with project team members, clients, operators, and outside parties in preparing design brief, appointment of consultants, master programme, financial budget, and obtaining all necessary permits and approvals,
- Managing the overall quality assurance, safety management, quality control, and safety audits, and conducting field tests etc.,
- Work closely with project team members and consultants during the whole process of tender procurement and control the budget throughout the development process.
- Assist to supervise and coordinate overall design development and construction progress, avoid and mitigate any potential project risk in all aspects,
- Liaise with government authorities, expert panels, consultant teams and contractors to understand the design and construction practice and statutory requirements,
- Provide advice on the selection and appointment of relevant consultants, design review, contract packaging strategy and construction cost controlling.
Requirements:
- Member of a recognized professional institution in the Architecture industry preferred,
- Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural background,
- Experience in project management and in architect office preferred,
- Solid experience in hotel / large mixed use development project in China is required,
- Having experience in overseeing a project from commencement to completion is an advantage,
- Has experience in contract administration,
- Familiar with China government regulations, administration, and protocol,
- Able to work independently and with proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget,
- Excellent communication skills with good command of spoken and written English & Chinese and fluency in Putonghua is a must,
- Driven, knowledgeable, organized with strong leadership skills and eagerness to succeed,
- PC Knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD software and Microsoft Project).
- Required to frequent travel between PRC and HK,
- Experience in coordinating curtain wall design and interior design are an advantage.
