Assistant Manager - Technology Delivery

Nov 4, 2026

Overview:

This role sits at the intersection of business and IT. Working with a high degree of independence, the incumbent will partner with business stakeholders and IT squads to clarify needs, shape clear requirements, and drive delivery from analysis through testing and go-live. The incumbent will own assigned initiatives end to end - coordinating people and dependencies across workstreams, aligning parties without formal authority, and ensuring UAT provides the confidence needed for a successful release - while also supporting business users on day-to-day questions and operational issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Own business analysis for assigned initiatives, including analyse business and client needs, document requirements, define and assess enhancements, and derive test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Establish scope and parameters for systems analysis and define outcome criteria and measurable success measures.
  • Coordinate resources across business and IT teams to ensure priorities are clear, dependencies are managed and delivery remains on track.
  • Partner with project/delivery leads to maintain delivery momentum and provide visibility of progress to business and IT stakeholders.
  • Lead and support UAT, including test planning, test-case preparation, acceptance criteria definition, coordination, and hands-on testing where appropriate.
  • Build effective working relationships across IT squads and drive alignment to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
  • Represent the team in cross-functional forums and stakeholder discussions.
  • Provide day-to-day support to business users by answering system and process-related enquiries, clarifying requirements, and coordinating issue resolution with the appropriate teams.
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and delivery challenges, and recommend practical solutions to address them.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years' relevant business analysis experience, including shaping requirements and supporting delivery through UAT/go-live.
  • Working knowledge of business analysis practices, plus a high-level understanding of how applications, data, and infrastructure fit together.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery approaches.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to influence and align stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, take end-to-end ownership with minimal supervision, and operate effectively in a matrix / squad environment.
  • Relevant certification (e.g. CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum) are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Construction, Property Management, or Loyalty Programmes would be beneficial.
  • Experience presenting to or working with mid-to-senior business and IT stakeholders is preferred.
