Overview

The Senior System Analyst is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the property sales system by bridging business needs with technical solutions. The role translates business requirements into clear technical specifications, reviews system processes and vendor solutions, and ensures reliable system performance through effective analysis, integration support, and cross‑functional collaboration.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review property sales system business processes and technical system behaviour on a module‑by‑module basis to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Serve as the key technical point of contact with internal technology teams and external vendors.
  • Evaluate vendor‑proposed solutions and provide independent, well‑reasoned recommendations.
  • Translate business requirements into structured technical specifications, including functional documentation and process flows.
  • Support production troubleshooting and system issue investigation, working closely with relevant teams to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Facilitate collaboration across cross‑functional teams to support system enhancements and integration initiatives.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role, with hands‑on experience in business process analysis and system implementation.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation.
  • Strong experience in solution analysis and design, including reviewing vendor proposals and engaging in technical discussions with third parties.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and system integration patterns, with practical exposure to enterprise system integrations.
  • Ability to produce architecture and technical diagrams, including system context, component, sequence, and data flow diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of backend and frontend technologies, with the ability to read and understand code (e.g. Java / Spring Boot and ReactJS).
  • Familiarity with relational databases, including the ability to interpret and discuss data models.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in property or real estate transaction systems, or exposure to B2C e‑commerce / high‑volume transactional platforms, will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerised environments such as Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Experience working within cross‑functional teams (e.g. Business Analysis, Development, DevOps, QA) is desirable.
