Accountant - General Ledger (Contract)

Role And Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting duties for general ledger function
  • Keep proper accounting of transactions, ensure all transactions are checked, supported and recorded, and properly accounted 
  • Ensure compliance on company policies / requirements and flag irregularities
  • Prepare analyses of accounts and produce periodic reports
  • This role will be supporting in Financial Shared Service Team under New World Group.

 

Requirements:

  • Preferably with around 3 years of accounting experience  
  • Diploma or above in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Excel formulas for data analysis and reporting, data import and export functions will be an advantage
  • Experience in Oracle system will be an advantage
