Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts

This role will support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function by managing P&L reporting, driving financial insights, and partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and cost efficiency.  S/he will work closely with Managers in enabling effecting finance business partnering with leasing teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly P&L reporting with accuracy and completeness, and deliver analytical insights to support business decisions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to review financial performance and drive alignment on key metrics
  • Reconcile P&L data with general ledger records, resolving discrepancies and ensuring consistency
  • Monitor operating expenses and support initiatives to improve cost efficiency
  • Prepare monthly landing reports and rolling forecast, contributing to strategic financial planning

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Corporate FP&A and business partnering, preferably with experience in retail or mall sector
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Solid understanding of P&L structures and forecasting processes
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
  • Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools, preferably with hands-on experience in Oracle Hyperion & Tableau dashboar
