Assistant Manager - Investor Relations

We are seeking a high‑calibre Investor Relations professional to support investor engagement and capital‑market communications for New World Development Company Limited (Stock Code: 00017.HK), with a specific focus on the Chinese Mainland sector.
This role will work closely with onshore and offshore Investor Relations teams to execute investor strategies, strengthen engagement with institutional investors and sell‑side analysts, and support policy‑related research and capital‑market initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Support Mainland China investor engagement activities, including investor meetings, conferences, non‑deal roadshows (NDRs) and post‑meeting follow‑ups
- Prepare high‑quality Mandarin investor relations materials, including presentations, briefing notes, FAQs and policy summaries
- Conduct market, policy and peer analysis to support investor messaging and strategic positioning
- Assist in C‑REIT and CMBS‑related coordination, data preparation and documentation support
- Monitor Mainland media, investor sentiment and financial platforms to identify relevant market developments
- Ensure timely, accurate and professional responses to enquiries from Chinese Mainland investors
- Collaborate closely with Hong Kong‑based teams and support results announcements and other cross‑border IR projects
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity or credit research, brokerage, investment management, or real estate finance related to the Chinese Mainland market
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related disciplines
- Strong financial literacy with the ability to interpret financial statements and translate insights into effective investor communication
- Proven experience in preparing investor presentations; excellent PowerPoint and dashboard application skills are essential
- Solid understanding of the Chinese Mainland investment landscape, including broker research, fund strategies and credit markets
- Excellent Mandarin written and verbal communication skills; proficient English reading ability is required, with strong English communication skills considered an advantage
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities
- Willingness to undertake occasional business travel to the Chinese Mainland
Candidates with more experience may be considered for Manager grade.
