Overview
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded land and development professional to support the evaluation, management, and enhancement of the land portfolio. The role is responsible for assessing development opportunities, managing land administration matters, conducting market and valuation analyses, and coordinating with stakeholders to maximize land value and support long-term development objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies and development assessments for property development projects to enhance the value of the land bank portfolio.
- Perform site analyses, valuation assessments, and development appraisals to support investment and development decisions.
- Manage planning and land administration matters, including planning applications, land exchange applications, lease modifications, premium assessments, and related submissions.
- Review statutory requirements, planning parameters, and land-related documentation to facilitate development proposals.
- Support the management of the agricultural and strategic land portfolio by identifying land use opportunities and land enhancement initiatives.
- Liaise with government authorities, tenants, legal advisers, consultants, and other stakeholders on land-related matters.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate project execution, regulatory approvals, and project delivery.
- Conduct market research, transaction analysis, and benchmarking exercises to support land valuation and development opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and industry practices relevant to land and property development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Real Estate, Town Planning, Urban Planning, Urban Studies, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in surveying, land administration, valuation, property development, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in planning and development applications, land administration, project coordination, or land-related transactions.
- Professional qualification, or progress towards qualification, such as MHKIS, MRICS (General Practice or Planning & Development Division), or equivalent is an advantage.
- Exposure to planning, land administration, or development projects in Mainland China is a plus.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; financial modelling experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
