Assistant Project Manager - Landscape

We are looking for a proactive and passionate landscape professional who combines strong design expertise with practical project management capabilities. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with hands-on experience in landscape design and implementation, capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving projects from concept development through construction and completion. A keen eye for quality, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional landscape environments will be key to success in this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal project teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery, quality standards, and programme control.
  • Provide professional advice on the planning, design, and implementation of landscape works throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and coordinate landscape design development with landscape consultants, architects, and other relevant disciplines to ensure design intent and project objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and coordination of landscape construction drawings, technical details, and submissions for statutory and government approvals.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams and quantity surveying consultants during tendering and procurement processes, while monitoring project budgets, cost performance, and financial control.
  • Monitor construction progress and workmanship to ensure landscape works are delivered in accordance with approved quality, cost, programme, safety, and handover requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory, environmental, contractual, and regulatory requirements relating to landscape works.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Professional membership of HKILA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in landscape design, project coordination, and management.
  • Strong design capability with excellent graphic presentation skills and a proven track record in developing innovative landscape design solutions.
  • Practical site experience with a solid understanding of landscape construction, site coordination, and project execution.
  • Sound knowledge of hardscape and softscape design, planting design, and landscape planning principles.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage design deliverables, project schedules, budgets, and multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
