Project Manager - E&M

Responsibilities

• Liaise/Coordinate with project team members and outside parties to establishing the design standards, budget, procedures and records etc.
• Assist in monitoring the design, quality and its progress for the projects
• Liaise and collaborate with consultants, government bodies, utility companies and various parties to achieve development objectives on building services and E & M works as well as to ensure compliance of local regulation on statutory inspections
• Check E&M contractor's installation materials and workmanship to ensure compliance of technical specification and quality standard
• Tender preparation and evaluation; Evaluate the performance of the E&M contractors
• Evaluate the performance and advice on selection of E&M consultants
• Discuss with project team members on problems encountered and suggest solutions to follow
• Budget and cost control in all phases of the project.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Mechanical / Electrical or related disciplines
• Corporate member of a recognized professional institution in the construction industry
• Minimum 10 years of experience with strong mechanical and electrical engineer background
• Experience in project management and in E&M consulting firm preferred
• Solid experience in Hong Kong project development is required
• Has experience in overseeing a project from commencement to completion is a must
• Familiar with HKSAR regulations, administration, and protocol
• Good knowledge of financial planning, quality and cost control
• Able to work independently and with proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
• Excellent communication skills with good command of spoken and written English & Chinese and fluency in Putonghua is a must
• Driven, knowledgeable, organized with strong leadership skills and eagerness to succeed
• PC Knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD software and Microsoft Project)
