Property Officer - Commercial Building

Overview:

The Property Officer supports the delivery of effective property management services for a commercial building. The role assists in the daily operations of the property, helps oversee facility maintenance, and supports the supervision of outsourced service providers such as security, cleaning, and technical teams. The position also provides administrative assistance within the Management Office and handles routine tenant-related matters, including enquiries, coordination, and basic operational support.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising and monitoring the performance of outsourced contractors, including security, cleaning, technical, and other service providers.
  • Support Management Office administrative duties, including procurement coordination, record keeping, and assisting with operational or incident reporting.
  • Handle routine tenants’ enquiries, service requests, and minor complaints professionally, and follow up with relevant teams or contractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and assist in performing special daily inspections, weekly night checks, and quarterly preventive security measures; support surprise inspections during non-office hours under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Coordinate with tenants, internal teams, and contractors on building operations, repair works, maintenance scheduling, and other operational arrangements as required.

 

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in commercial property management, with a strong understanding of the Building Management Ordinance.
  • Hold a degree or diploma in Property Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possess a PMP (Tier 2) license.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently and under pressure.
