Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our Technology Operations team. In this role, you will oversee and manage overall Group IT procurement, contract and payment management, operations logistics, and provide administrative support to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a structured and analysable contract inventory to analyse and improve budget planning, procurement process, vendor management and payment forecast
- Enforce and ensure all Group IT procurements comply with company procedure and policy, and to identify and mitigate possible risks associated with IT procurement
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement
- Monitor and control procurement expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints, and to provide monthly reports on activities and costs
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews
- Contract management
- Handling of invoice and payment
- Collaborate with Finance and IT team heads to manage procurement budgets
- Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits
- Provide support to ad hoc projects as requested by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related discipline
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2-3 years in managerial role
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate junior teammates
- Solid problem-solving skills with ability to consider alternative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Knowledge in any accounting software, Power BI setup and data maintenance skills will be an advantage
