Legal Counsel

We are looking for a commercially focused Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support across the Group’s corporate and commercial activities. This role partners closely with business teams to manage legal risk and support day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements, including commercial contracts, service agreements, NDAs and joint venture documents.
• Advise business units on corporate, commercial and general legal matters, providing practical and compliant solutions.
• Research and interpret applicable laws and regulations relevant to the Group’s operations.
• Advise on regulatory requirements and support responses to regulatory enquiries, including liaising with external counsel and authorities where required.
• Prepare and deliver legal training and updates to enhance legal awareness within the business.
• Support corporate governance matters, including policies, procedures and governance documentation.
• Handle ad‑hoc legal matters and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years’ post‑qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Background gained from private practice and/or in‑house roles preferred.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts; exposure to property‑related agreements (e.g. leasing, property management, services or vendor contracts) is an advantage.
• Good understanding of legal issues in the property and real estate sector.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters concurrently.
