Senior Officer / Assistant Manager - Strategic Design

Role And Responsibilities:

• Assist seniors to manage assigned projects from conception to completion, with a strong focus on cost-effective solutions and adherence to budgets
• Deliver quality 3D models and renderings to support design development while considering cost implications of materials and construction methods
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports, including cost estimates and value engineering proposals
• Organize and facilitate effective project/design meetings, ensuring clear communication regarding costing and timelines with all stakeholders
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential vendors, focusing on cost-competitive and high-quality options
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to manage project costs and ensure smooth site coordination
• Possess site coordination experience to oversee on-site activities and ensure alignment with design plans and budgets

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Interior Deisn or related field 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project and design management within developer / interior design industry
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Hands-on experience in project and design management within a similar industry, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of costing concepts in construction and design
• Experience with value engineering methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders and navigate potential cost-related challenges
• Site coordination experience, demonstrating the ability to oversee on-site construction activities and address logistical concerns
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and design software (e.g., Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Creativity and a keen eye for design, with a focus on achieving design goals while considering cost-effectiveness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
